Welcome to ChristianRemnant.org. Our mission is to ignite a movement to take back America for Christ by encouraging pastors to speak out against the evil which has overtaken our country. We encourage you to share the following letter with your pastor and to visit this web-site on a regular basis to access links to important articles and to view messages and commentary pertinent to the effort to take back America for Christ.

We are writing to encourage individual pastors to lead their congregation in the fight against the evil which has engulfed our country. The descent into godlessness beginning in the 1960’s has increased precipitously decade after decade and is due largely to the failure of the Church to speak out publicly against the abandonment of Christian morality in institution after institution of society. Most of society is now biblically ignorant of the spiritual truths and values that were once held dearly by our country’s founders. Along with a massive departure from the doctrine of biblical inerrancy in our seminaries and denominations Satan has succeeded in drawing many astray, until what the Church once called good is now considered evil, even by many believers.

A formidable obstacle the Church faces today is the misconception that the Church should eschew all involvement in politics. As almost every human endeavor involves politics the acceptance of this premise has resulted in the removal of the Church from the public square. Christian influence no longer dominates in government, education, business and entertainment. From the time the Pilgrims landed in North America until the mid-twentieth century the Church has spoken out on issues that were heavily involved in politics. The best example of this is the Abolitionist movement. Slavery was arguably the most contentious political issue in the years leading up to the Civil War. This did not prevent Christians from advocating for the abolition of slavery. Those who came before us knew that our freedom of speech and to practice our religion come from God and not from government.

In order for America to remain a Christian nation the Church must speak out against the evil which is corrupting our country. Too many Christians have compromised Biblical principles in order to conform to the culture. These individuals serve the culture and not Christ. Others are waiting for God to save us while God is waiting for his Church to rise up. The Great Commission instructs us to make disciples of all nations. Christ tells us in The Sermon on the Mount “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” Christians who remain silent in the face of injustice and evil have lost their “saltiness” for silence in the face of evil makes one complicit in that evil.

We humbly encourage pastors to have a frank discussion with their congregation regarding the evil which has infected our culture. The Bible unequivocally tells us there are only two genders, male and female; homosexuality is a sin; marriage is between a man and a woman; men should not dress as women and women should not dress as men; and abortion is murder. To advocate and celebrate homosexuality, the transgender movement, same sex marriage and abortion is to advocate and celebrate sin. It is an attack on Christianity and the most fundamental unit of Christian civilization, the family. Our most powerful weapon against evil is prayer. Ephesians 6:12 tells us “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” We humbly recommend that every Sunday a special prayer be offered, as part of your service, for our country, for our brother Christians who are experiencing persecution, and against the celebration and advocacy of homosexuality, same sex marriage, abortion and the transgender movement always remembering to pray against the sin, but for the deliverance of the sinner.

If enough pastors begin to exercise forceful leadership, we can, with God’s help, make a difference. It would be well to remember we shall be judged not only for what we do but also for what we fail to do. Our effort to enlist your participation is a grassroots movement and at first glance may appear to be unrealistic, but we have faith that with God’s divine intervention, individual pastor’s efforts to fight evil will play a major role in winning back this nation for Christ.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will inspire you to join us in our efforts to take back America for Christ and that you will encourage your fellow pastors to do likewise. May God Bless you and your ministry.

Barton, David The American Story: The Beginning

A history of the role Christianity played in the founding of America. The author delves into the influence Christianity had in the development of Colonial America, its role in the American Revolution and how Christianity influenced the writing of the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.

Cahn, Jonathon The Return of the Gods

The author addresses the spiritual component of the fight against the evil that has overtaken our country. The Return of the Gods explores how the decline of Christian influence around the world has allowed the demons of the Old Testament, Baal, Ishtar and Molech to reassert their influence upon the world.

Metaxas, Eric Letter to the American Church

This book proffers a warning to the American Church of the dangers of remaining silent in the face of evil. The author contends that the American Church is going down the same path as the church in Germany did in the 1930’s notably to remain silent in the face of evil. The result in Germany was the horror inflicted on humanity by Hitler and the Nazis. Silence in the face of evil makes one complicit in the evil. It is a call to the American Church speak out against the evil that has over taken our country. A separate study guide is also available.

Biblical Civics Course – Patriot Academy

An eight-session course on Biblical Citizenship available at Biblicalcivics.com. It explores the role American pastors and churches played in the establishment and preservation of religious liberty. It proceeds from the premise that to be “Salt and Light” requires a knowledge of the culture we are attempting to preserve and influence and that as Christians we are called upon to fulfill the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. Being Biblical citizens requires a knowledge of Biblical principles and how to apply them to the world in which we live. The course explores the influence of the Bible in the creation of our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and focuses on how to apply Biblical principles to the world around us. It is particularly well suited for an eight-week Bible study.

Flashpoint

A program aired every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 8 PM Eastern Time which explores current events from a Christian perspective. It is a part of the Victory Channel which is also an excellent source for the daily news. It can be viewed on Rumble as well as the Victory Channel.
